Dara’s love for photography began at ten years of age while living abroad in Germany. Traveling with her family, camera in hand, she was encouraged to photograph while exploring new cultures. Dara made her first pinhole camera at the age of fifteen and from there she realized her passion pursuing a degree in Photographic Art and Technology. It did not take long for Dara to create a thriving photography studio located in Historic Downtown Cary, North Carolina. Dara Blakeley is known for her award winning photographs and has been published both locally and nationally over the years. It is very important to Dara and her team to always deliver the highest standard of service to her clients, delivering images truly unique to each client. Dara’s enthusiasm for life and people brings a fresh perspective to her work. Armed with an easygoing attitude, her energy is contagious and sets her subjects at ease.
