The Bridal Buzz team is excited to present American Tobacco – Bay 7 as the host of Bridal Buzz 2011!

Bay 7 is a popular meeting, event and wedding venue space located at the Historic American Tobacco campus in downtown Durham.  Accommodating up to 400 guests, its “urban chic” design includes exposed brick walls, hardwoods floors, steel girders, a balcony area and water feature.  Rental of the facility includes a 12’ by 16’ stage with on-site engineer and facility attendant, oversight of all logistics including insurance coverage, and plenty of free parking for your guests.  Bay 7 is the perfect venue for your wedding and special event needs.

Presenting I Do Faces, a professional makeup company who has been styling brides and celebrities for over 30 years.

Owner, Susan Ballard’s career started as a high fashion model right out of fashion school.  She was always disappointed when her makeup was done professionally for fashion shows and print work.  Too heavy!  Too made up!  She vowed that one day when it was time for her to step from in front of the camera, to behind it, that she would apply makeup the way it should be applied!  The art of makeup is for it not to look like makeup.  Sure, it is beautiful to enhance ones features with different techniques and colors, but it still should be done with a flawless, and well blended finish!

For the past 20 years Susan has touched the faces of 100′s of celebrities, such as Andy Griffith, Oprah’s beau, Steadman Graham, Anne Graham Lotz, Trading Spaces/Moving up host, Doug Wilson, Governor Mike Easley and other politicians, and the list goes on and on!  Some of Susan’s most favorite celebrities are her Brides.  She loves designing the perfect makeup look for them that they have dreamed of since they were little girls.  She tells them that the goal is to meet in the middle……”I will bring my expertise, and you tell me the look you have been dreaming of, and I will make it happen”.  Her work has been featured in “The Knot” Wedding pages, Weddings Magazine, and weddings Unveiled.
